The ENF/EXE end fed dipole has been designed to meet the stringent requirements of the petro-chemicals industry where safety is a critical factor. The radiating elements are housed in a reinforced fibre-glass tube which is completely sealed using silicone, "O" rings and a Hawk gland to provide a gas tight seal in possible combustible atmospheres. Connecting to the equipment is via armoured RG313 cable, minimising the risk of accidental severance. Finally, the antenna is fully encased in black heat-shrink, protecting it from the harmful effects of ultra violet rays. This has the added advantage of making the antenna impervious to the corrosive effects of acidic, alkaline or saline environments. Not ATEX Certified.
